Mazda6 2011

At the 2010 Geneva Motor Show, Mazda was pleased to show their new 2011 Mazda6. The United States are supposed to get theirs later this year or next year. In Road&Track magazine they added "The Mazda6 sedan gets a minor makeover with new headlights, foglights and 17-in. alloy wheels. Inside there are new cloth seat materials, a new steering wheel and door armrests, and a rearview camera now comes standard on Grand Touring models." And Mazda has confirmed that it will also happen on all 2011 models.

The 2011 Mazda6 Facelift is introduced, along with new head and rear lamps, for more sportiness and a clearer premium identity. Six engines will be available, including a powerful new 2.0-litre DISI petrol that uses less fuel and produces fewer emissions than the 2.0-litre engine it replaces. Its five-speed automatic transmission was adapted especially for this new petrol engine to deliver an optimal combination of acceleration and fuel economy.

The 2011 Mazda6 facelift also features new chassis settings and several new active safety features – like a new pivoting adaptive front lighting system and hill-launch assist – that together make the Mazda6 facelift one of the safest and easiest-to-drive cars in its segment.
